he University has been established by an Act of the Haryana State Legislature. The Governor of the State is Chancellor and Head of the University. The Vice-Chancellor is appointed by the Chancellor on the recommendations of the Government for a term of three years in accordance with the procedure defined in the Act. Applications are invited for admission to 3-year postgraduate programme in cinema (session 2013 – 2016) specialization in Direction & Screenplay Writing, Cinematography, Sound Recording & Design, Editing and Producing for Film & Television.
Applications are to be made on-line through the website of the institute (www.srfti.gov.in) on and from 30th July 2013.
The last date for on-line application to the courses is 23rd August, 2013.
Anna University was established on 4th September 1978 as a unitary type of University. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology and allied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society.Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation between the academic and industrial communities.The University was formed by bringing together and integrating two well-known technical institutions in the city of Madras.
