The Indian Institute of Handloom Technology have been set up with the following objectives: 

a) To undertake experimental and research programmes. 

b) To lay down the highest possible technical standard of training for the handloom industry and to devise short term and long term training programmes for technical personnel to be employed in the handloom sector. 

c) To devise channels of service in order to built up the closest possible liaison between the Institutes and handloom production units. 

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT) is established by Sir M.Visvesvaraya Education Trust Bangalore in 2001 with an objective of promoting research oriented advanced courses in field engineering. It has vast experience in running professional courses in the state of Karnataka. Achieving exellence in education is the main aim of RGIT.

On behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is implementing since last 18 years, a scheme of practical industrial training for M.Sc./M.Tech./B.E./B.Tech. Biotechnology students. The objective of this program is to provide industry-specific training to Biotech students for skill development and enhancing their job opportunities in biotech industry. This program provides an opportunity to Biotech Industry for training and selecting suitable manpower.
