CMAT NOTIFICATION

COMMON MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (CMAT)- 2014-15 (FIRST TEST)

 AICTE conducts National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) twice a year for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all managem ent programm es approved by AICTE.

 AICTE has now decided to conduct CMAT in Foreign Countries for facilit ating eligible NRIs/PIOs and foreign nationals to appear in CMAT for seeking admission in institutions in India following CMAT merit list for 2014-15 under special provisions defined in AICTE Approval Process and against all vacancies left after complet ion of centralized admission in m anagem ent institutions.

 The notification is issued to announce the schedule for conducting First Test of Common Managem ent Admission

Test (CMAT) for admission for academ ic year 2014-15.

 The candidates will be given two opportunities to appear in

CMAT; first in September, 2013 and Second in February,
2014. The better of two scores will be used for admission for
2014-15.

Eligibility

Graduat es in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencem ent of admission for 2014 can apply for CMAT online.

Note: In case of foreign nationals the eligibility will be as per recognition

and equivalence standards notified by Association of Indian

Universities.

 Choice of 3 dates and 3 cities of India for online examination in the order of preference.

Note: AICTE reserves the right to change or cancel any test venue / centre and

/ or change the test time and dates at their own discretion.

 The det ailed m erit list will be provided to the respective State Governm ents for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.

 In case there is no central counseling Scores awarded will be used for adm ission in the AICTE approved Institutes/University Departments.
