CIPET is an ISO 9001:2008 QMS, NABL, ISO/IEC 17020 accredited premier national Institution devoted to Academic, Technology Support & Research (ATR) activities for the growth of Plastics & allied industries in the country. CIPET operates on hub & spokes model with 23 locations spread across the length & breadth of the country. CIPET has 16 centres at Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Hajipur, Haldia, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mysore and Panipat.

Anna University was established on 4th September 1978 as a unitary type of University. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology and allied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society.Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation between the academic and industrial communities.The University was formed by bringing together and integrating two well-known technical institutions in the city of Madras.

The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) Chennai was established as an autonomous Institute by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in the year 1964 to improve the quality of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system in India and in the Southern Region in particular. Within this mandate, the institute takes initiatives to offer need based Human Resource Development programmes through appropriate modes and develop curricula and instructional resources.

The Indian Maritime University, came into being through an Act of Parliament (Act 22) on 14th November 2008 as a Central University and is poised to play a key role in the development of trained human resource for the maritime sector. 14th November is celebrated as 'IMU Day' every year.

The Indian Institute of Packaging was established in the year 1966 jointly by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and the Packaging and Allied Industries in the country.The Institute was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860, on 14th May, 1966.The Institute successfully introduced a number of services and kept on increasing the sphere of services already introduced. The objective set for the Institute was to bring about and sustain appropriate improvements in the standards of packaging particularly for exports.

The Annamalai University is a unitary, teaching, and residential university. It was founded by the munificence of the farsighted and noble hearted philanthropist and patron of letters the late Hon'ble Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad, Kt, LL.D., D.Litt. He started several colleges, and ultimately, the University in 1929. Since its inception, it has progressively tried to realize the aims of the noble Founder Pro-Chancellor. After him, his illustrious son, Padma Bhushan Dr.

Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute was established by Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health T rust in the year 1985 as a private non-profit self-financing institution dedicated to serve the society as a Centre of Excellence with emphasis on medical education, research and healthcare. In view of its academic excellence, the Government of India declared Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute as a Deemed University in September , 1994 under Section 3 of the University Grant s Commission Act, 1956.
